Darwin - Krokodilfarm
Am 07. 04 holte ich meine Freundin, Jessica, in Darwin vom Flughafen ab. Anschließend fuhren wir gemeinsam mit Christian, den wir jetzt bis nach Adelaide begleiten, zur Krokodilfarm. Ungefähr 40 Km südlich von Darwin konnten wir zuschauen wie die riesigen Biester gefüttert wurden.
Es war einfach der Wahnsinn, zu zusehen was die Krokodile für eine Bisskraft haben. Gefüttert wurden die Krokodile mit Hühnern, jedes Krokodil bekam 2 Hühner zum Fraß vorgeworfen. Bei jeden Bissen lief es mir Eiskalt den Rücken runter. Ich glaube jeder, der zugesehen hat, hat sich auch bildlich vorstellen müssen was nun wäre, wenn das Krokodil ihn schnappen würde. Also lebend würde man dort nicht rauskommen. Allein schon die Kraft der Zähne, das war einfach der Wahnsinn. Bei der Fütterung ist mir aufgefallen, dass sogar der Mitarbeiter, der gerade das Krokodil fütterte, Angst vor diesem riesigen Ungeheuer hatte, dies stand ihm förmlich im Gesicht geschrieben.
Auf dieser Krokodilfarm werden die Krokodile gezüchtet und als Delikatesse verkauft. Natürlich habe ich auch mal probiert es schmeckt ungefähr wie Hähnchen. Zusätzlich konnte man auf der Krokodilfarm auch Schlangen anfassen. Eine Schlange hat sich sogar um meinen Hals gewickelt, aber giftig war sie nicht.
